Job Description
We are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established, leading transport company based in Felixstowe who are currently seeking a Trainee Freight Forwarder to join their successful team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Look after day-to-day haulage operations.
- Responsible for sending bookings.
- Build strong working relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Negotiating costs.
- Transport planning across the UK and Northern Ireland.
- Become knowledgeable in the UK haulage market. i.e. trailer types used, pricing and locations across the UK.
Previous Skills & Experience:
- Excellent communication skills, strong phone manner and customer service.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the logistics industry.
- Enthusiastic attitude to be welcomed into a fast-paced operations environment.
- Self-motivated and goal oriented.
