Job Description

We are proud to be working on behalf of a prestigious Financial Services company based in Ipswich, who are currently looking for an experienced Business Information Analyst to join their growing team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the executional delivery of the business’ data strategy.

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience in a similar Business Analysis role, ideally within the Tech or FS/Fintech industry
Experienced in statistical analysis and data modelling techniques
Degree educated in a role related discipline, such as data science, mathematics, or statistics
Proven proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages
Extensive knowledge SQL, PowerBI, Python, Microsoft Power Apps as well as GA, and Big Query
Excellent problem-solving skills, confident with large datasets and complexity
Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
A creative, innovative, and inquisitive mindset
A genuine passion for data, and the desire to learn and adopt new technologies
A willingness to travel between offices in Ipswich/London as and when required

The Role:

Supporting data-driven decision making across the organisation to help the business capture, grow and retain higher client value and drive ROI, as well as optimising internal processes
Extracting, processing, and analysing data from diverse sources to create actionable insights, visualising them in interactive dashboards, while ensuring data accuracy and integrity
Working closely with data engineers, data scientists and business stakeholders, to help identify patterns, trends, and opportunities to drive business objectives while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
