Role Overview:
- Maintain a pipeline of mortgage applications, to ensure that Lenders and Underwriters requirements are met, enabling cases to progress through to completion in a timely manner
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of client lending policies and application requirements for each lender
- Liaise with solicitors and third parties to ensure loan conditions and documentation requirements are fulfilled
- Ensure information relating to borrowers and their loans is current and accurately recorded on the system
- Receive and resolve loan completion enquiries from solicitors
- Identify, recommend and implement enhancements to processes and procedures
- Understand the underwriting process in order to minimise risk
Required Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of the applicable regulations/codes governing the financial services industry
- General understanding of mortgages and the application process
- Ability to work as an effective team member
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Excellent telephone manner
- Customer focused
- Ability to prioritise workload on a daily basis to meet deadlines
