Job Description
Time Appointments are excited to be working exclusively on behalf of an International Freight Forwarder based in Felixstowe who are looking for a proactive, friendly, and experienced Finance Manager to join their team and contribute to the business’s continued growth.

As a Finance Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the financial health of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making at all levels. You will work closely with senior leadership to develop financial strategies and help achieve company objectives.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accurate month end reporting to strict deadlines
- Monthly payroll
- Assist with annual budgeting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Project profitability reporting
- Bank reconciliations
- Calculation and payment of quarterly VAT
- Manage and mentor the finance team

Skills & Experience Required:
- 5+ years relevant experience within a similar industry
- Experience of managing a team
- Sage 50/Multifreight experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- FX Trading experience would be desirable
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage own workload
