Time Appointments Ltd takes the privacy of its clients and candidates very seriously. We are committed to safeguarding and protecting any personal or sensitive information you supply to us in accordance with the Data Protection Act (1988) and the forthcoming EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We ensure the personal information we obtain is held, used, transferred, and otherwise processed in accordance with that Act and all other applicable data protection laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Privacy and Electronic Communication Regulations.
We act as the Data Controller for any personal or sensitive information you supply to us when registering as a Client or Candidate, and in relation to enquiries about our services. Time Appointments Ltd is registered as a Data Controllers with the Information Commissioners register – Registration number: Z9890183
The Data Protection Act 1998 requires Time Appointments to act as Data Controller to process data in accordance with the principles of data protection.
These require that data to be:
- Fairly and lawfully processed
- Processed for limited purposes
- Adequate, relevant, and not excessive
- Accurate
- Not kept longer than necessary
- Processed in accordance with the data subject’s rights
- Protected against unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage through appropriate technical and organisational measures;
- Not transferred to countries or territories outside the European Economic Area without adequate protection.
Time Appointments holds data on prospective, current, and former candidates; prospective, current, and former staff; and businesses interested in our services. This data is held securely in electronic and/or as a paper record.
Time Appointments Ltd has a legitimate interest to process personal data in order to enable the recruitment process of assisting individuals with finding employment and recruiting new staff. Personal data will only be used for the proper purposes of the employment business.
The protection of your personal data will be governed by the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998. Access to your data will be restricted to personnel to whom it is necessary for proper purposes
Time Appointments will not sell your personal data to third parties. Your personal data will only be transferred to third parties where there is a purpose related to business matters and with your knowledge.
Your Rights
Upon request and upon proof of identity, Time Appointments will aim to provide you within 30days and without charge, with a copy of the Data, we keep about you.
Should you wish us to amend or erase any part of the Data, we will do so, subject to compliance with any statutory requirements.
