Job Description
Due to high demand, we are recruiting for a fantastic company in the shipping and logistics industry in an accessible area of Ipswich.
The role is for a European Freight Forwarder, the role includes fantastic benefits, a great working environment and the opportunity for a great career.
You will be required to provide solutions and manage the logistics operations of any products moving throughout Europe.
Key Duties:
- Raise customs entries and transit documents for exports.
- Deal directly with Clients on operational needs, quotations and liaising with suppliers to deliver on services.
- Build and maintain client relationship to continue business with customers.
- Support customers with logistics and customs queries.
- Internal audit checks.
- Work with HMRC and other customs authorities.
Previous Skills & Experience:
- European Operations experience.
- Knowledge of customs process and requirements.
- Competent in handling and submitting customs documentation, certificates and licences.
- Knowledge of Tariffs.
- Understanding if Inco Terms.
- High level of customer service.
- Good problem solving skills.
