Job Description

Our client, a leading Logistics company based in Chelmsford are looking to recruit an experienced Export Operator. The perfect candidate must have at least 2 years’ experience within the Shipping/Logistics sector.

 

Key Duties:

  • Liaison with customers/overseas agents/partners, inter-company offices & related parties.
  • Preparation/Presentation of Import Customs Entries Bills of Lading/Emanifest/ISF, AMS, CDS entries and any other related documentation.
  • Preparing spreadsheets and Invoices.
  • Responsible for collection of all monies due in liaison with the Accounts department.
  • Quality Management – Strive to maintain quality within the organisation and alert the Operations Supervisor or Managing Director of any issues or risks.

 

Skills Required:

  • 2 year experience in shipping/logistics.
  • Freight Forwarding experience.
  • Ocean/Sea export experience.
  • Project forwarding experience.
  • Knowledge of handling Letters of Credit/ IPR and other Freight related documents in relation to exporting cargo.
