Job Description
Time Appointments are working alongside a global Claims Management Company based in Cork who are currently seeking to appoint a dedicated Claims Team Leader to lead and motivate a busy team of Property Claims Handler. The successful candidate will become part of a fantastic company who offer great routes of career progression and learning and development opportunities.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum to two years’ experience leading and motivating a successful team of property claims handlers
- APA qualified, and working towards Certificate in Insurance Practice (CIP)
- An aptitude for people management with the ability to motivate and drive performance on a consistent basis
- The ability to resolve complex customer challenges, issues and complaints, and a strong understanding of customer service processes
- Proven influencing and decision-making capabilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Proactively lead and motivate a team of claims handlers to achieve team objectives
- Managing own small case of claims
- Overseeing and monitoring the lifecycle of the desk-based teams claims
- Lead and develop team members to reach their potential, ensuing targets and personal goals are achieved
- Planning and conducting 1-2-1 meetings and appraisals
- Holiday and absence management
- Identifying training needs within the team and implementing any necessary training
- Continually improve employee satisfaction
