Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join our client’s Commercial team based in Ipswich. The successful candidate will support the Business Development Manager to maintain and grow the business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production of various weekly and monthly reports.
  • Complete analysis of trade/Intermodal/customer activities.
  • Quoting and following up all rate enquires.
  • Research of Industry and customer activities.
  • Building relationships with customers.

 

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous experience within an Import/Export environment is essential.
  • Previous experience of reporting.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of customer service under pressure.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Time management skills required.
  • Strong telesales and negotiation skills essential.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages essential.
