Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a quantity surveying role
- Bachelor’s HNC/D (preferred)
- Willingness and flexibility to learn new skills and working practices, as required
- A genuine desire to develop a career in construction
- Dynamic, enthusiastic and customer-focused
- Approachable and responsive.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- An eye for detail and understanding the expected standards to be delivered
- Competent in IT skills and software packages that are relevant to the role
Supporting the team of Quantity Surveyors, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Re-measurement
- Recording and distributing project information
- Assistance with Final Account preparation
- Supply chain cost control
- Enquiry preparation and analysis
- Assisting with Estimating
