Time Appointments have a fantastic opportunity to join a global, thriving and well-established logistics company based in Felixstowe. Our client is looking to add an experienced individual to their Imports Team due to their continued growth and success. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience within shipping and logistics, specifically imports.
The role will involve dealing with both sea & air freight forwarding movements. This company truly value their staff and believe that every individual has the ability and potential to progress and they will offer their support and help to assist their employees in achieving this.
Key Duties
- Liaising with customers and other departments bookings onto inhouse LCL system
- Maintaining and building strong relationships with external service providers
- Updating customers and other departments in relation to shipments.
- General admin tasks and invoicing
- Finance admin tasks, ensuring all charges are entered correctly.

- Strong communications and organisational skills
- Familiar with using Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Good attention to detail
