    Key Duties:

    • Use role specific systems – in-house and Audatex, MIAFTR & GLASSNET
    • Authorisation of estimates up to £750 full repair cost
    • Invoice reconciliation
    • Quality assurance auditing of the Network
    • Recording telephone conversations on files for both inbound and outbound calls
    • Invoice reconciliation

    The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level in English & Maths or equivalent and have an understanding of areas of damage and vehicle types. Knowledge of relevant legislations and industry knowledge is also essential.

    Our client, a leading construction business based on the outskirts of Ipswich, are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their forward-thinking business.  Reporting in to the Group Sales Manager, you will be responsible for face to face meetings, telephone calls and emails in order to drive sales and create business opportunities.

    Key Duties:

    • Respond to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner
    • Responsible for your own lead generation and appointment setting
    • Answer technical and sales enquiries by telephone and email
    • Actively follow up and sell to prospective customers by telephone and email
    • Prepare quotations for all products
    • Feedback customer comments as appropriate

    You will ideally come from a Construction related background with 2 years + experience. A full UK driving licence is also essential.

This role will offer the opportunity to understand your clients; you will be happy to travel overseas and attend industry exhibitions, regularly.     Main Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Selling the expanding product range
    • Identify, research and target new business opportunities to grow the list of customer accounts.
    • Work with the Head of Foreign Rights to establish targets and turnover for your agreed territories.
    • Manage your sales turnover and profit for agreed territories.
    • Negotiate on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and then liaise with internal customers to satisfy the business and customer needs.
    • Self-arrange appointments with your client base (International Travel)
    • Attend International, Industry-related events at a minimum of twice a year

  • National Living Wage & National Minimum Wage Increases April 2019

    Effective from 1st April 2019, the hourly rate of the National Living Wage and National Minimum Wage (NMW) will increase.

    The announcement was made during Chancellor Philip Hammond’s 2018 Budget speech and will benefit over 2million workers throughout the UK.

    The minimum wage requirement for employee’s is dependent on their age and if they’re an apprentice and is a legal requirement regardless of how small the employer may be.

    The revised NMW rates that will take effect on 1 April 2019 are:

    25 and over 21 to 24 18 to 20 Under 18 Apprentice
    April 2019 £8.21 £7.70 £6.15 £4.35 £3.90
    April 2018 (current rate) £7.83 £7.38 £5.90 £4.20 £3.70

    Workplace pension contributions will also rise in April 2019, from 2% to 3% for employers, and 3% to 5% for employees.
